Restaurant and Bar „Guess-Club“– Kaerntner Strasse 44, Vienna, Austria

“Guess-Club” is more than just a restaurant and a bar. The three levels, fitted with unique shades of light, colors and materials, help to achieve an ambience for the guests, which will stimulate all of their senses and essentially arouse associations with food and nutrition.
The design was established by an intense cooperation with the architects and their chosen artists, who all contributed to the significant theme of food design. Each room/area was assigned its unique and effective look:

Chefs table
Dark wood – smooth and rough – armour like – dark and transparent glass – ivory like

Lobby
Damped and comfortable – not too private – brown/white crowns – leather – warm light

Shining Dining Room
Organ room – intimate – translucent – mirrored views

Terrace
Lab – light and refreshing illumination space between the in-and the outside – biochemical kitchen garden – wheat field

Dining Room
Peach room – fruity skin – smooth and fuzzy – soft juicy light

Conference Room
Nut room – shell like and silky – delicate room dividers – room inside a fruit

Bar and Event Room
Fish hall – slithery and flaky – smooth and mirrored – taught ceilings – aquarium light

In its entirety then, this project combines art, architecture and the media, creating a unique ambience, thus a place for indulgence. The presented architecture simultaneously is the stage, the architect represents the director. All the guests are invited to take part in this marvellous play on stage.
