Bar »Shultz« – Siebensterngasse 31, Vienna, Austria

In this day café, evening and night bar, three main functions have been combined at the former lamp store, hence the three seating areas. One, which is situated by the bar counter on stools, the other which takes seats in front of a glass wall on chairs and stools on the far wall, as well as those seats located in the niche.
The counter area allows for an overview over the entire bar. The mirrors enhance this perception. The glass wall facing Siebensterngasse has the effect of a merging of the in- and outside. During the summer season, these glass elements are widely opened.
The seating in the niche is considered the quiet area. Sombre lights help create the mood. A Chinese lantern located above the bar marks the centre of the high room and establishes orientation.
