Residential House – Trennstraße 33, Vienna, Austria

This is a residential house which includes three stacked apartments resembling maisonettes. The cube-like sturucture of the building was highly influenced by the building regulations. The result of which is a stretched element with two low side elements, which are accentuated with appropriate exterior panelling.
The middle element is very open and fitted with wide glass panels, which are horizontally ornamented with glass strips made of pofilit as blinds.
Both side parts are equipped with, again, horizontally arranged with larch wood. The stacked apartments are arranged so that each is benefited with generous open spaces, such as patios and terraces.
